ABOUT US

Gwinnett Humane Society was founded in 1979 to promote animal welfare. The society strives to prevent cruelty to animals and to reduce pet overpopulation by:

  • Educating the public regarding humane treatment of animals
  • Promoting responsible pet ownership
  • Encouraging the spaying and neutering of companion animals

Gwinnett Humane Society is a volunteer supported, 501c3 non-profit organization supported by private donations. We receive no government funds. We rely solely on your donations and on our volunteers who donate their time and energy. Gwinnett Humane Society does not operate a shelter. We are not affiliated with Gwinnett County Animal Control.
